Your sweat profile changes with every workout. Intensity, environment, sleep, and where you are in a training block all affect how much fluid and electrolytes you lose. Nix Solo already lets you filter workouts by metrics like Nix Index, RPE, and location. Tags let you add the context the app can’t measure on its own.
Nix Solo includes a set of preloaded Tags such as “Hill Work,” “Tempo,” and “Intervals.” You can also create your own, and any new Tag is saved to your list for future workouts. Once your workouts are tagged, you can filter your Sweat Profile or Workouts list by one or more Tags to see how your sweat losses compare across different sessions.
How to Tag a Workout
You can tag a workout from the Workout Summary screen at the end of a completed session, or go back to a past workout and add Tags at any time.
From the Workout Summary, tap the Tags field
View the list of preloaded Tags
Select an existing Tag, or type a new one and tap the Plus button
Your new Tag is saved to your list
Select one or more Tags and tap Apply Changes
Your selected Tags appear in the Tags field
How to Filter with Tags
Tags keep your sweat data organized and make patterns easier to spot. Tagging workouts by type (training vs. race or game day, intervals, hills) or by influencing factors (poor sleep, menstrual cycle phase, travel, illness recovery) helps you see what may be shifting your hydration needs from one session to the next.
You can filter by Tags from two places in the app.
From your Sweat Profile:
Navigate to Insights > Sweat Profile > Filter icon > Tags
From the Sweat Profile tab, tap the Filter icon
Tap the Tags field
View your full list of Tags
Select one or more Tags and tap Apply Changes
Once your Tag selection is updated, tap Apply Filters
Your Sweat Profile now reflects only the workouts with the selected Tags
From your Workouts:
Navigate to Insights > Workouts > Filter icon > Tags
From the Workouts tab, tap the Filter icon
Tap the Tags field
View your full list of Tags
Select one or more Tags and tap Apply Changes
Once your Tag selection is updated, tap Apply Filters
Your Workouts list now shows only the workouts with the selected Tags
Manage Tags from Settings
You can view, add, and delete Tags at any time from Settings.
Navigate to Settings > Account > Workout Tags
View Your Tags
From the Home screen, tap Settings
Tap Workout Tags
View your full list of Tags
Add a New Tag
From Workout Tags, tap Add a New Tag
Type your Tag and tap Apply Changes
Your new Tag appears in your full list
Delete a Tag
From Workout Tags, tap the Trash icon
Tap Yes, delete
Your Tag list reflects the update
The Bottom Line
Your sweat profile is dynamic, and the context around each workout matters. The more consistently you tag, the clearer the picture becomes of how your training, recovery, and environment shape your hydration needs.
